Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
WACLAW MIKIJANIEC
He will be dearly missed by his cherished daughter Lily, and family in Poland and Belarus. He was predeceased by his parents, three sisters and his wife Stanislawa.
Despite having spent his formative years away from his family, in forced labour in Germany during the Second World War, he enjoyed life and the gifts it gave him. He was a dedicated, disciplined and conscientious man. He was a loving husband and father.
As an extraordinary gardener, he knew the importance of patience and nurturing. Even in his final days, he had a natural curiosity and was fiercely independent.
A thank you is extended to Donwood Manor for the compassionate care he received while he was there.
A private funeral has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Waclaw can be made to a charity of your choice.

I am saddened to read of your dear father's passing, Lily. I remember him with fondness from our visits to my Dad at Donwood. He was friendly and kind, and I think he and my Dad had much in common. I know how much you will miss him, your devotion to him was so evident. Asking the Lord to comfort, sustain, and strengthen you as you walk through your journey of grief. With sincere sympathy, Betty Watson - Posted by: Betty Watson (acquaintance from Donwood Manor) on: Sep 09, 2020
