JOSEPH GALL
1923 - 2020
Joseph was predeceased by sisters, Mary (Art) Robson, Kathleen (Nick) Kostynuik; brothers, John, Frank (Teenie) Gall. He is survived by nieces, Lorraine (Danny) Maskiw, Susan (Brian) McNarland; nephew, Gordon (Denise) Kostynuik; and great-nieces, Stephanie and Brittany McNarland.
Joseph was born and resided in Winnipeg. As a young adult, he found employment in the printing department of Eaton's Catalogue Services. This would eventually take him to Toronto to continue his career, where he spent a good portion of his life. He returned back home to Winnipeg in 1973, where he then worked for the Frontier School Division from 1975 up to his retirement in 1988. His passions included gardening, cooking, bowling and curling.
The family express their sincere gratitude for the many years of home care services, and to all the staff at Holy Family for their kind and compassionate care these last couple of months.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews Street. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue.
His caring, generous and giving spirit will greatly be missed.
