LENA TANASYCHUK
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Margret (John), Terry, and Marcy (Rob); son Marvin; and sisters, Irene (Ryan) and Jean, plus seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church on August 8, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, only immediate family attended the service and interment, accompanying her on her final journey. Lena's family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by visiting her tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew her, are available there.
Many thanks to the wonderful 4th floor staff at Holy Family Personal Care Home for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted, in Lena's memory, at the Holy Family Personal Care Home.

Sorry for loss and our prayers are with you guys. I always remember coming to the cabin at Pinawa. Uncle Wally taught me to fish for walleye. Auntie Lena would always prepare them for us. Such great memories. We will miss them. Take care thinking of you. Love the Rekrut family. - Posted by: Rick Rekrut and family (Nephew) on: Aug 08, 2020

Terry And family… One of the hardest things in life is to lose the matriarch of the family. I often read what’s in between their Dash, And it appears that your mother had quite the full life. I’m offering my sympathy to you at this time. And now you have one of the most important angels in life looking over you. - Posted by: Laurie Gydé (School friend) on: Aug 08, 2020
