LUBA CULL
She was born December 20, 1924, the youngest daughter of Theodore and Annie (Grindey) Kozmulak. She is survived by her son Mickey (Wendy) Cull, grandsons, Andrew (Jeannine) Cull of Winnipeg, Stephen Cull of The Pas, granddaughter Christie (Nico) Cull of Winnipeg, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter Cull, and her siblings, John (Eileen) Kozmulak, Minnie (Peter) Kosman, Lena (Bill) Kohut, and Lydia (Michael) Hrabec.
In her younger years, she played a saxophone and mandolin while in a music band. Years later, she was able to sing the words of many older songs just by listening to the tune. Over many years, she worked off and on as a cashier at various retail stores. Neighbours and family were very important to her but her favourites were her grandchildren whenever they would visit.
We would like to thank the staff of the Fred Douglas Nursing Home and a special thank you to the Elm Unit staff.
A viewing will take place at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Home on Main Street in Winnipeg on August 21, 2020.
On August 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., a family graveside service will take place at Brookside Cemetery where Luba will be laid to rest alongside her late husband Walter.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Fred Douglas Lodge (Elm Unit) in memory of Luba Cull.
