PAMELA ANN ROUTLEY
Pamm was predeceased by her husband Mel Williams, her son-in-law Steve Williams and her father Dr. Keith Routley. She is survived by her mother Beverley Routley, sisters, Barb Brako (Ryan) and Marian Peters (Gord), brothers, Mark Routley (Wilma), Brent Routley and Paul Routley, stepchildren, Angie Williams (Jeff) and April Williams (Chris), great-grandchildren, Kensie and Greyson, and several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
As a child, Pamm loved enjoying the family cottage on Lake of the Woods, and later continued with this tradition spending time with her husband on Granite Lake. She attended catholic schools in Winnipeg, including St. John Brebeuf and later St. Mary's Academy. She worked as an assessor at the City of Winnipeg, from which she retired after a fulfilling career. Curling with the team of friends in the Metro Curling League where the Civic Employees Bonspiel was a highlight. Between Lake of the Woods, Granite Lake, the schools she attended, and her job at the city, Pamm met many lifelong friends that she cherished and loved to spend time with over the years. In fact, these friends are holding separate vigils for her to celebrate her life. She loved to spend time with her family, especially spoiling her many nieces, nephews and more recently great-grandchildren, great-nieces and great-nephews.
When Pamm and Mel retired, they were proud "Winter Texans" spending half the year in sunny Weslaco, Texas. They spent many enjoyable years in Texas, and the couple made excellent friendships in their park. Pamm loved to golf and spend time by the pool, while Mel would be out shopping for their next gourmet meal.
At this time there will not be a funeral due to the current pandemic situation. The family will hold a private burial service.

Pam would have been 70 today Aug. 29th. We really thought she would make it to 70 just 11 days shy. We had planned a few Covid friendly get togethers and the first one was to be the day after she died. She knew about them and called me on Sunday to add a few more people to the list. Some of her friends still got together on the dates scheduled. The family really appreciates this. We are having a family only graveside celebration of life for Pam next week. Patti and I Are deeply saddened at Pamm's passing. We shared many laughs and good Times with Mel and Pamm while at Granite Lake. Pamm had a great sense of humour and she had the most booming laugh. Although we haven’t connected in a few yrs. We send out sincere condolences to all the Routley Family at this difficult time. I was so sad to hear that Pamm has passed. It did bring me joy to read that she had a wonderful life surrounded by love and fun (her nature). She will always have a special place in my heart. My condolence to the Routley family and a big hug for Bev. I have many fond memories of my times with the Routley’s. So sad to hear of Pamm’s passing. She had the kindest heart and spread the love to many in many places. Pamm didn’t just “talk the talk”, she made things happen. I know she made a difference to many underprivileged children in Mexico where she helped her Dad with his free Dentistry services and then continued the clinic after her Dad was gone. Pamm loved people and her friends were Very special to her. A party wasn’t a party without Pamm. “Melly will be waiting for you with open arms my friend”. RIP girlfriend.
