JULIETTE MARIE DELPHINE FILLION
(nee BELANGER)
Juliette was predeceased by her parents, Yvonne (nee Provencher) and Jean-Baptiste Belanger, numerous brothers and sisters as well as her loving daughter Denise Yvonne Pearson.
Juliette came to Manitoba from Quebec with her husband Rosaire Pearson where they began a new life together. They had three children together, Denise (Benny), Sylvia (Dennis), and Ronald (Michele). In 1989, Juliette married Leo Fillion and added seven more children to the family she loves so very much. Mom always welcomed everyone with open arms. She loved food-cooking, sharing and sampling off other plates. If you were lucky you tried one of her meat pies. Juliette enjoyed knitting socks and mittens for everyone, being outdoors and gardening. Juliette's greatest pride was her family. She loved to brag about her 23 grandchildren, which is now 26. We are all going to miss her sense of humour, smile and infectious laugh.
We would like to thank the staff of Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank for taking care of Juliette.
A family service will be held Monday, September 14, 2020, at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I will always remember my Grandmother at the cottage and her teaching me many different things, i loved to help her in her garden even tho us kids were not supposed to be in there, but grandma always gave us fresh veggies from her garden and thats where my love for green beans began. Julie was an amazing person she had a heart of gold I loved her as a second mother when I first moved to the city so young and far from my parents Julie and Rosaire treated me as a daughter as I was married to their nephew Rosaire taught me how to make wicked homemade soups, Julie taught me many things that she had picked from her garden among making French meat pie‘s with her daughter Denise and I. Our beautiful mom was the most precious jewel that ever came into our lives after our own mother passed in 1986 Juliette, came into our lives and changed it forever she brought so many of the same and different traditions into our life but she always gave love for everyone. After both Leo and Juliette , retired they became great advocates of the red river seniors and they won and received many accolades for the work they did for the seniors in the red river valley. I will miss you my mom may you be surrounded in heaven with everyone that you love and always remember that everyone here on earth loves you to the heavens and back.
