BERNARD JOSEPH POUNDS
Bud had a year long battle with cancer and heart failure during which he continued to be a large part of his family's lives, always wanting to know how they were and what they were doing. He took particular interest in his grandchildren's hobbies of hockey, piano, airplanes and lake life.
Bud is survived and will be missed by his wife Joy; children, Catharine Chiborak and her husband Brad, and daughter Sydnee, Bud's other daughter Brenda Svoboda and her husband Jim, and sons, Evan and Jordan. Also by his sister Terry Karpinsky and her husband Harry.
Fortunately almost to his last days Bud was able to occasionally visit his lifelong passion and favourite lake Big Whiteshell.
Bud made a point to visit, enjoy and tell his appreciation to those he loved and those who loved him.
