ACACIO SOUSA RIBEIRO
He was born in Portugal on May 23, 1946 to Rosalina Sousa and Jaime Ribeiro.
He came to Canada in 1973, to start a new chapter with his wife of now 47 years, Lidia Maria. They had three children, Zita (Dario), Emanuel, Paulo (Manuela).
He dearly loved his grandchildren, Nathan, Kaitlynn, Noah, Isaiah and Jaxon.
Acacio has many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews along with many other relatives in Canada, United States, Portugal and France.
Acacio was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. A hard-working man of little words who spent his retirement helping anyone who needed a hand.
A love for nature and animals, he was always accompanied by his little companion Miley (dog).
Funeral Mass to be held Wednesday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
Descanse em paz querido marido, pai e avô.
His final words were "I love everyone!"
