BENJAMIN PLETT
Benjamin Plett was born October 19, 1923, in Willowridge, Manitoba on the family farmstead. The second child of seven children to Cornelius and Elizabeth Plett. He went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 9:25 p.m., after several years of declining health.
Ben was predeceased by a son Marvin, two great-granddaughters: Aryn and Casey; one brother Alvin and one sister Elsie.
Left to mourn are: his wife Elma, son Larry and his wife Elda, daughter Lorainne and her husband Andrew, daughter Valerie and her husband Daniel, grandchildren: Natalie, Justin, Amy, Amberlea, Carleen, and Travis. He also leaves to mourn: his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Viewing will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with a devotional at 3:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with burial to follow at Prairie Rose EMC Cemetery, Landmark, MB.
A celebration of Ben Plett's life will be held on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Benjamin may be made to Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
