Mary died peacefully at Riverview at 95 years of age.
She is survived by sons Pat, Jim (Lorna), Gene (Kathy), and daughter Marlene (Darryl); seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was born in Fisher Branch, MB, into a family of 11. For over 25 years she owned and operated her restaurant “Marpat Inn” in Piney. Her life in Piney revolved around her family, friends, business and community.
Special thanks to the caregivers at Riverside Lions and Riverview Personal Care Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach, MB.
