SONIA MARIE MARTEL
February 11, 1944 - September 21, 2020
Sonia was predeceased by her husband Raymond and her son Robert, leaving to mourn her daughter Kim Martel.
Mom was a multi-talented lady. She loved to cook, bake and sew. She and Dad upholstered furniture for many years.
She was Dad and Robert's personal nurse throughout their sicknesses and struggles with their health. Mom was a good friend to many and always there if needed. She will be missed by many. She was tough, but loving and never afraid to say what was on her mind. She was comical, hardworking and dedicated to her family.
She was proud to be a grandmother to Kayla Kostuik and Cody Kowerko, and great-grandmother to Odin and Asher Kostuik.
Special thanks to her nephew, David Hebert who treated her like a mom.
It takes great comfort through these sad times, that Mom, Dad and Robert are together once again and released from pain.
Due to COVID, a Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.

She was a amazing women my kids will never forget her and there ice cream trips myself and Jamie thought of her and ray ray and Robert as family we will miss her dearly are little get togethers even if it was a two hour phone call or BBQ or just to have coffee at her house she was very near and dear to us I'm so sorry for you're loss kimmy.
