KENNETH (KEN) JAMES JOSEPH FLEURY
September 8, 1954 - October 22, 2020

In loving memory of Ken, who passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on October 22, 2020.
Ken is survived by his daughter Dayna, who filled his heart with joy; brother Elie (Therese); sister Doreen (Red); sister-in-law Carol; brother Donnie (Georgina); brother Terry (Brenda); as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ken's wishes are to have a Celebration of Life in the summer of 2021 at the hall in Binscarth, Manitoba. Service arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
In the meantime, Ken's family kindly requests that all his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by visiting his tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew him, are available there.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I will always remember Ken as one of my true heroes. And I don't have that many. I met Ken through the Spirit of Peace program at Mami Wi. I took the program multiple times as I found I learned something new each time around. Eventually, Ken brought me in as a mentor to help other men newly in the program. Ken was an amazing mentor. I feel our relationship was a perfect example of the White man working peacefully with the Aboriginal man to make better men for ALL of society. I will always cherish the memories. Thank you Ken - Posted by: Keith T (Student) on: Jun 16, 2023
