RUBY CAROLINE BOSKO
(nee MATTHES)
1925-2020

With great sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our mother on October 23, 2020.
Ruby is survived by daughter, Donna (Rick) and son, Glenn (Shelley); grandchildren, Michael (Christine), Kristen (Jason) and Raelene; great-grandchildren Matthew, Timothy, Ashley, Kamryn and Peyton; sisters, Elsie (Ed) and Esther; nieces and nephews; honorary family member, John; and good friend, Ray. Ruby was predeceased by husband Steve, parents, John and Carrie, sister Agnes and brothers, John (infant), Harold, John, Ernest and Glen.
Ruby was born in Winnipeg and resided all her life in East Elmwood. She was a life-long member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Our mother was caring and kind. If someone was sick or in need, she delivered a care package. Kids enjoyed visiting as she always had treats for them. She enjoyed Glenn's friends dropping by, and she had a special place in their hearts. She was independent at 95 years of age, she still enjoyed driving to church and doing her own grocery shopping.
We miss her deeply, not only as our mother, but as our friend. We thank the Lord that she enjoyed good health and slipped peacefully from this world.
Due to Covid-19, there will be a private interment service.
In memory of Ruby, a gift to Holy Cross Lutheran Church (708 McCalman Ave, Winnipeg) in lieu of flowers, would be greatly appreciated.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
