ADAM SOLINGER
Adam's journey began on August 31, 1981. He was a happy baby that loved animals and his family right from the beginning. His passion in life became football, dedicating many years to playing, helping and of course watching. He always had an opinion on a player or team and could even make a prediction about who was going to win the Super Bowl just as the season began. In his younger years, he dedicated his time to playing hockey, football, being a big brother and helping those at school who had extra needs. In school, he made many friends and was so proud to win many awards for football. Later in life, he fought many demons that tried to change the person he was. He tried hard to fight these demons and had success many times. Many people remember him for his infectious smile, kind and compassionate heart and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone at any time. He always found the good in people and believed that everyone made mistakes but that deep down everyone was a good person. He would not want people to be angry or want revenge at this time because he truly believed that everyone has a story or a past and we just do not know what anyone is going through just by looking at them. Instead, he would want you to reach out to a friend and make sure their okay, get together and have a few laughs.
To honour Adams memory, we are asking that if you would like to make a donation in his name, please do so online to bruceoake.ca or mail a cheque to: Bruce Oake Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 61094, Grant Park, Winnipeg, MB R3M 3X8.

I met Adam in grade 4 at Meadows West and we instantly became friends, he was such a good friend, and even though after high scho we didn't keep in touch, any time I bumped into him it was always love. His smile would instantly make you smile. To his family, my prayer is that our heavenly father will comfort you all in this season of mourning. We were so sad to hear of Adam's sudden passing. We remember him as a happy, considerate and polite young boy when they were our next door neighbors in Meadows West. Our thoughts are with Colleen, Roy, Amber and family at this very difficult time. - Posted by: Bruce and Holly Proctor (Friends ) on: Nov 01, 2020

My sincere condolences on your loss. I pray that memories of happier times will see you through your time of grief! "God gave us memory so we might enjoy roses in winter. " I have great memories of Adam, who helped his team win several provincial football championships. His passing is tragic, and he will be missed by many. I knew Adam since he was a small boy. He always had a big smile. I enjoyed seeing him and talking to him as he grew up and became a man. It didn't matter if he was with his friends he would always stop to say Hi. I will miss seeing him and his smile and kind words. He always had a smile for me. Be happy now Adam - Posted by: Linda Dubyts (neighbour) on: Oct 31, 2020
