EDWARD BUECKERT
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Joanne; his three sons, Ken (Tess), Josh, and Calvin (Keely) to remember him. He is also survived by his brother Ron (Jennie), sister-in-law Bev, and sister Marlene (Chuck), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Rick.
Ed found his special place in Pinawa, close to the bush and water. Hours were spent rowing, biking and skiing when he was not coaching the boys. He loved coaching hockey and baseball and was always willing to give his time. His love of music kept him entertained. He shared that love of music with the boys.
Special thanks to the Whitemouth Personal Care Home for the special care over the past ten years.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations may be made to the Pinawa Foundation.

Joanne, Ken, Josh, and Calvin, I was saddened to hear of the recent passing of your precious husband and father, Ed. He was a kind and gentle man, with a great sense of humour, which was always on display while rowing the beautiful waterways around Pinawa with his fellow rowers, me included. I hope you can find peace and comfort through your many memories of Ed. - Posted by: Karen McDougall (Friend) on: Nov 09, 2020
