I met Steve when I was about 16 years old. He was my neighbor in Wpg. He lived with a guy named Ken who me and my girlfriend always just called” neighbor”. I left Manitoba at 17 and moved to BC. Steve and I always kept in touch every year. We wrote Christmas cards to each other every year. The last letter I sent was 2 years ago and I guess I knew then that something was wrong. I visited Steve and neighbor in Fort St John a few times and have many many amazing memories of our time spent together. We always loved our music. I am in Wpg now visiting and wish that I could have seen or talked to you one more time Steve! I will miss you forever and hold you deep in my heart ♥️ - Posted by: Cindy K (Old friends) on: Nov 01, 2024

Remembering very happy days spent together with you, Debbie and Martin in Malaya in the early 1960s. The first time I ever tasted apple crumble was that made by your lovely mum. I remember getting about in your dad's quirky blue Fiat Millicento; building cubbyhouses in the jungle; battling red ants; boat races on the lake at the University. Fond memories all. Rest in peace, my dear friend. - Posted by: Stefan Frodsham (friend) on: Jul 07, 2022
