ALFRED KUHNLE
October 30, 1931 – November 10, 2020

It is with deep sadness that the family of Alfred Kuhnle, announce his passing on Tuesday November 10, 2020. Alf passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital, just a short distance from his childhood home on Talbot Avenue, where he was born 89 years ago.
Alf was predeceased by his wife, Joann (nee Flockton); his parents, George and Rosina (nee Fey) and his siblings, Sadie, Jack, Anne, Fred, Connie, Martha, and Esther.
Alf leaves to mourn his passing his four children, Gregg (Carol), Jill (Jim) Robinson, Bruce (Marilyn), and Janice (Larry) Martin; ten grandchildren, Sherri (Travis), Sara (Troy), David (Nicole), Angie (David), Nick (Chanelle), Michelle, Matthew, Monica, Rebecca and Bryan; five great-grandchildren, Elicia (Michael), Roy (Marisa), Colby, Wyatt and Brooks, and one great-great-grandchild, Levi. Alf will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews across Canada and the United States.
Alf's childhood years were in Elmwood. As a young adult, he met Joann and together they began what would be a 63 year marriage. With the exception of a 5 year period in Oakville, Ontario, they lived in St. Vital. They also enjoyed traveling to warmer climates in winters and spending summers at the lake.
Alf was a Chartered Accountant, an incredibly intelligent man, and had a thirst for knowledge. He started his career in the accounting and auditing field where he met many of his lifelong friends. His true passion was watching the stock market and the news, and he would spend countless evenings on the computer and reading and clipping out his favourite magazine and newspaper articles to be reread later. He had an outstanding memory and could be relied on to provide a (detailed) explanation to any question posed to him. Alf was a gifted storyteller and kept his family entertained with his sense of humour.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Alfred's life will be held at a later date.
