LILY GERYLO
December 23, 1928 - November 18, 2020
Lily was fiercely protective of her family. She loved and supported her children and grandchildren in all the important ways. She knew where to be and what to do. Nobody ever left her house hungry.
Lily was predeceased by her husband, William; her parents, Frances and Peter Bretchka; her sisters, Mary, Annie, Helen, and Florence; and brothers, Martin and Victor. She will be lovingly missed by her son, Gary (Kathy), and their children, Danika and Mikhail; and her daughter, Diana (Stuart), and their children, Marty and Calli.
Thank you to the B2 staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg who showed such compassion and tenderness in taking of our mom and baba.
At her request, cremation has taken place, and the family will honour Lily privately.
In lieu of donations, please pay a kindness forward in Lily's name.
We will miss you, Baba but are
so happy we had you for so long.
Have fun playing bingo with Gigi.

My deepest sympathies to the family on your loss. I met Lily at Columbus House where we both resided, we had tea, goodies & chats many times. I missed her when she had to move. Rest in peace, until we meet to have tea again. Hazel Hoplock - Posted by: Hazel Hoplock (Friend) on: Nov 21, 2020

Dear Gary & Diane & Families, It was with great sorrow that I read about your Mother's passing. I called my Mom and read it to her, she did not know, either. She will pass on the the sad news to Karen & Glen. As time goes by, so many families have drifted apart, and for this I'm saddened. Please know that you are in my prayers today. She is in the arms of the Angels, unto a more peaceful place. In Sympathy - Debbie & Raymond, Helen and Karen & Glen - Posted by: Debbie & Raymond Kashuba (niece) on: Nov 21, 2020
