LEONARD E. WARELIS
Left to cherish the memories of Leonard are his parents, Julian and Sylvia Warelis; sister Cheryl (Ric Coy); brother Larry (Jocelyn), nieces, nephews, and godchildren, Amanda Rozyk, Dustin Warelis, and Sarah Coy.
Leonard was born in Gilbert Plains December 8, 1958. He lived on the family farm in the Rhodes district of the municipality of Ethelbert, Manitoba. In 1963 the family moved to Winnipeg where they settled in Charleswood. Leonard attended Royal school and Charleswood Collegiate. As a young adult he worked at KFC, the Holiday Inn, and eventually began a career with Motor Coach Industries that spanned 40 years.
A celebration of Leonard's life will be announced at a later date, when we are safely able to come together. In the meantime, Leonard's family kindly requests that his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by visiting his tribute page at EthicalDeathCare.com. A photo-biography, as well as memories and stories published by those who knew him, are available there.

I have very fond memories of Leonard in our teens! Leonard was a hard worker but enjoyed cruising in his Monte Carlo in the evenings. Always willing to lend a hand and always looking to have a laugh, Leonard was a true friend who will be missed. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Roy McLeod (friend) on: Nov 28, 2020
