He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Agnieszka; cherished sons, Conrad and Jason (Michelle); treasured grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan and Gracelyn. Also left to mourn are brother-in-law Dan; nieces and nephew, Carole (Doug), Jocelyn (Ric), Eric, and Valerie (Andras); great-niece and nephews, India, Andy, Liam and Max, as well as many dear relatives across Canada, Poland and Germany.
He was predeceased by parents, Jozef and Karolina (nee Miller) and sister Corinne in 2017.
A small private service will be held at this time, with a full service and celebration of his life on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his name to the St. Amant Foundation via their website, or the Fire Fighters Museum of Winnipeg, 56 Maple St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0Y8.
Our family would like to express our appreciation to his nurses, doctors and aides at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
