It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Allan Ducharme on November 24, 2020 at Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home at the age of 70 years.
He was predeceased by his parents,

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • To all of Allan's Family I have nothing but great memories of Allan and I growing up on Notre Dame street in our teens and 20's ! He really was a true friend and a free spirit. I will always treasure our friendship. Rest in peace my friend!! Rick Pelland - Posted by: Rick Pelland (Friend) on: Dec 28, 2020

  • Al and I were neighbors on Notre Dame in St. Boniface for 5 years along with my children Jacques, Donald and Jolyne. I would often make him meals and send one of my boys over to surprise him. Al was very appreciative of this gesture. Even when I once cooked him prairie oysters and told him it was lamb. He loved it until he found out what we had just eaten. He called Bull on it (LOL) and laughed. We became very good friends and neighbors. I eventually met my wife Sandy and we moved to the country in Libau. Life got busy and although we visited for a while, Al and I lost contact as I did with many moving out of Winnipeg. He was very much on my mind and in my heart as I always cherished the memories I had of Red Al. My children also have fond memories of Red Al and he will be missed by all. Rest in peace my friend. Have a puff on me as you enter your real happy hunting grounds.. Luvya. Our condolences to Jen and family. From Roger, Sandy and family. - Posted by: Roger Desautels (Friend and neighbor) on: Nov 28, 2020

  • To Carol, LLoyd, Perry and Al's family, my heartfelt condolences to all of you. I have so many fond memories from way way back, laughter, good times, mischief and stolen kisses. I've thought of you all over the years. Take care. - Sis (Ledoyen) - Posted by: Cecille Thomas Moore (old friend) on: Nov 28, 2020

  • Allan and I were old friends from the Belgium Snack bar where we hung out for many years. We always had a great time together sharing jokes and daily tribulations. Sincere sympathies to the family and friends. Take care and be safe. 🙏 Janet Brisson Cretain in Calgary - Posted by: Janet Brisson Cretain (friend) on: Nov 28, 2020
