(née CLARK)
Lillian Frances Laliberte passed away early on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in the Concordia Hospital, at the age of 87.
Fran is predeceased by her loving husband, Guy and her brother, Gordon. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (her husband, Harold) and Lea, (her husband, Leroy); son, Pat (his wife, Lisa); grandchildren Branden (his wife Juliette) and Dawson; sister, Barbara (her husband, Grant) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Born in Saskatoon, Fran travelled extensively and held many positions throughout the years. Once qualified as a nurse, she took various traveling positions, landing in Minaki where she fell in love and married Guy. Raising her children, she directed a children's choir, managed a shop, edited a newspaper, managed a social hall, was a building caretaker, and many, many unpaid but not unloved motherly support positions in between.
In keeping with Fran's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private, family interment ceremony will take place in Brookside Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined.

Having met Lea and Sherry through Lea's involvement in the navy, Mrs. Laliberte presence was always felt and valued. Amongst Lea's most treasured possessions were the pieces of furniture Mrs. Laliberte had built. Those pieces of furniture were Lea's proof that her mother could do anything. Lea, Sherry, Pat: I know that your hearts are broken, and I am so very sorry for your loss. - Posted by: DSimmons (Family friend) on: Dec 09, 2020
