ALICE ELIZABETH THOMSON
June 27, 1933 - December 1, 2020

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alice Thomson on December 1, 2020, at the age of 87.
Born on June 27, 1933 in Rockglen, Saskatchewan, Alice was predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Herring, as well as her siblings, Marlene, James and Bruce. She was also predeceased by her husband James whom she married in July of 1955. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Francis), Lorne (Brenda), Kenneth and Daryl (Kristy); as well as her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who will miss her.
Mom really had a love for computers, and especially for playing her favourite game, World of Warcraft, where she could take a break from the real world for a while.
We sincerely thank all the staff at Riverside Lions that cared for Mom during her stay there and the nurses and doctors at Grace Hospital and Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. We would also like to thank the staff of St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their hard work and care during these difficult times.

"Rest in peace Mom; we will always love you"

  • Alice is extended family and I am sharing some of my memories of her with family and friends. In her life she was a good person, kind and caring, courageous, generous, hard working, a great sense of humour. We always got along well, lots of giggles too, mostly about the "aging" process. Her Family was most important and Alice loved her children and grandchildren very much and spoke so proudly of them. Condolences to her loved ones, Rest well my friend ♥️love B. - Posted by: Bonita (family) on: Dec 05, 2020

  • Sorry for your loss, my condolences go out to Lorne and family, - Posted by: Don Sewell (Friend of Lorne) on: Dec 05, 2020
