BRIAN WOODFORD ACTON
Brian is survived by his wife of 64 years, Wilma; his five children, Debra (Ron), Beverly (Gary) Lori, Randy (Elly) and Blaine; and his nine grandchildren, Graeme (Kristin) Daniel, Amelia, Tanya, Kyle, Megan, Marissa, Serena and Vanessa. He is predeceased by his brother Wayne Acton; and sister Noreen Semenko, of Winnipeg.
Brian was born in Winnipeg to Amelia and Harold Acton on November 28, 1934. He began his working life in his early teens. He was employed at Canada Packers for 36 years, and advanced in the company with experience and training, eventually becoming a 4th class stationery engineer. When Canada Packers closed their plants in 1988, he secured a position with Vita Health until his retirement a few years later.
Brian maintained his connection to his former Canada Packers supervisor, Stan Payton. The family would like to thank Stan and Marion Payton for their continuous caring and friendship.

We have known Brian and the boys for over 40 years. First met him, when my dad and him were friends, then they drove semi together. His oldest son we met when he came over several times with his dad.
