ANTHONY (TONY) ZASITKO
January 30, 1928 – December 13, 2020
Tony was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2008. Tony leaves to mourn his son Michael; daughters, Myrna (Andy) Friesen, Susan Swiderski and Linda (Jeff) Choboter. Also several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service and burial at the Transcona Cemetery has taken place.

Mr. Sazitko was a very close friend of my late father, Ken Possia. Their friendship dates back many decades to when I was a young child. As I recall they never had one discrepancy over those many years-one definition of a great friend. They used to meet at each other’s house at least a couple times per month to enjoy their friendship. I recall my father calling him “Chappy”, a nickname I forget how he acquired. Chappy was always willing to offer help whenever needed. His honesty , loyalty and integrity hopefully we’re passed on to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. After my father’s passing in 1998, I unfortunately lost communication with him.
