December 20, 1956 - December 4, 2020
She is survived by her children, Keith Barnsdale (Cherise), Brent Barnsdale (Stephanie), and Drew Barnsdale (Simrin); grandchildren, Alexander, Eva, Emily, William, and Lillith; mother Madeleine Asham; siblings, Rene Flamand, Farrell (Cheryl) Flamand, Darryl Flamand, Tracey (Michael) Wiebe; and her many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband Edward Barnsdale and her father Lamont Asham.
We would like to thank Grace Hospital and all of the staff for the thought and care they had continued to give Marlene.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Canadian Lung Association, are greatly appreciated.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. I worked with Marlene for many years. She was always in for a good laugh. After we stopped working together, we kept in touch and tried to get together when we could.
