Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Sincere condolences to Anne's family and extended family. I remember fondly working together with Anne @ HSC as we navigated through our shifts. Always organized and clam with a wonderful sense of humour. Her Dogs were like her children. She loved them dearly. Well Anne, I suspect you have had a joyful reunion with them as now you too have crossed over the "Rainbow Bridge". Rest well. You will be missed. - Posted by: Heather Crockett ([Former Colleague]) on: Jan 07, 2021

  • When I think about working as a frontline provider at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, I think about the wonderful people I was fortunate to work with. Anne, you were one of those people that brought a sense of calmness, compassion and competence to our shift work environment. May you Rest In Peace. - Posted by: Wendy Rudnick (Former co-worker) on: Dec 23, 2020

  • Annie was a beautiful friend with a kind soul. After graduating from and nursing at WGH, we shared several fun and memorable years in the 60s, travelling across US, Canada and Mexico. We were close friends and visited each other fairly often. She came to San Francisco and I went to Vancouver and Winnipeg. She was very close to her mother and lived in the family home in Winnipeg until a few years ago when she then resided in a nursing home facility until she passed away. She was very fortunate to have her caring niece, Denise, guide her and dote on her until she died. Denise was amazing in keeping in regular contact with me. Anne's nephew, Greg and his wife, Joanna, were also supportive of Anne through her transitions. "God Speed" sweet Annie. You'll always be in my memory and my heart. - Posted by: Lillian(Ozirny) Manuel (Friend) on: Dec 22, 2020
