MICHEAL JAMES RYAN
MAY 8, 1939 DECEMBER 19, 2020

Jim was predeceased by his father Peter Hryciw, mother Catherine Hryciw, sisters, Phyllis Hryciw, and Shirly Husarski, brothers-in-law, Dennis Trudeau and George Husarski along with nephews, Dwayne and Kirk Husarski and Jamie Kosawan.
Jim is survived by his brother Clement of Komarno, Manitoba, sisters, Pat Wood of Kelowna, British Columbia, Elsa Lee Hryciw of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Linda Trudeau of British Columbia and Millie Kosawan of Winnipeg, Manitoba along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
To know Jim was to know the most amazing and wonderful person.
Jim was born in Komarno, Manitoba district on May 8, 1939. Jim left home at the age of 17 and went to work for the CPR in Winnipeg Manitoba for eight years.
Then he moved to California in 1966, and then to Vancouver in 1970. He worked as a crane operator at Vancouver Port prior to his retirement in 2002 after 26 years.
Jim enjoyed travelling and spending the winters in Tucson, Arizona where he built his dream home. He travelled all over the world and in his spare time he enjoyed curling and bowling.
Sister Elsa along with her son Kevin, helped Jim a lot in Vancouver as well as in Winnipeg.
The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at the Donwood Manor, many many thanks.
Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date.
Jim had always prayed for our well-being and now we, pray for his eternal rest. He will always be loved and never forgotten.
God looked around his garden and found an empty space. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful as he takes only the best.
We love you Micheal and always will.
