I had the privilege of working with Marlene at the YMCA after-school program for kids with special needs. She was an amazing staff. She simply wore her heart on her sleeve. The last time I ran into her was 2 summers ago in polo park mall. I always enjoyed talking with her, She will be missed by so many people. - Posted by: Chelsea Adair (Co worker) on: Feb 26, 2021

All the trips, concerts, sporting events, everything, never met my dad, never needed to, she did EVERYTHING. Seen Neil Diamond in Minnesota, Scorpions and Alice Cooper in the old Winnipeg arena, hockey games, including chasing the bus to the airport to let her 13 year old son meet his hero (Pavel Bure) and that's not even a start of what I can say... - Posted by: James Forgie (Son) on: Jan 09, 2021

Marlene was a very long time friend. She was a very happy and upbeat lady no matter what was going on in her life. Unfortunately she was not aware of how sick she really was and has now left this earth to be with our Lord. Rest well now Marlene. - Posted by: Georgie Zacharias (Friend) on: Jan 09, 2021
