October 22, 1943 - January 12, 2021
She is lovingly remembered by partner Dennis Speakman; daughter Lorena Mitchell (Ernesto); grandchildren, Pam (Justin), Keelie, Priscylla, Tiernan, Athan and Dominik; great-grandchildren, Sophia, and Lillian; nieces, Jennifer and Lisa; cousins, Kirby and Pat; as well as uncle Vernon.
My mom was predeceased by her sisters, Valerie and Arlene; mom Evelyn and dad.
Lynda grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she was a Canada Post employee most of her adult life. Later she retired to Steinbach, Manitoba and enjoyed living in a smaller community with some very close neighbours. One of the things she really liked was summer in the city, and could be seen all around town on her scooter just enjoying life. She will be lovingly missed by all.
I want to impart a very special thank you to the staff at MED 2 Bethesda Hospital, Monique, April, Mandy and the staff and support from the Palliative Care team, Debbie and Jen. Special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Meals on Wheels for your help over the last three months. You are all very special people!
