ANGELO CHARALABOPOULOS
November 9, 1944 - January 15, 2021
Born in the city of Patras, Greece and orphaned at the tender age of nine, he immigrated to Winnipeg in 1968 and started a new life with his wife Pat. Angelo worked as a glazier from a young age and eventually managed to start his own business - Angelo's Glass - which he devoted his life to. He loved his work and settled for nothing but perfection, taking great pride in his work.
Angelo will be remembered by his loving wife Pat, and daughters, Vicky (Dimitris), Tina (Stephen), extended family and friends for his generosity and giving spirit. Always taking great joy and pleasure in giving to others with every opportunity he had. He will be deeply missed by all but his memory shall be in our hearts forever.
We would also like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Poseidon Care Home for providing a caring and comfortable environment during his stay.
A private family service has been held. Interment followed at Brookside Cemetery.

On behalf of the Winnipeg AHEPA Chapter Polikos Aster CJ8, I express our deepest sympathy to the family of Angelo Charalabopoulos and offer our thoughts and prayers. Angelo joined AHEPA in 1998 and was a dedicated and devoted member for many years. He was a kind person who volunteered generously and tirelessly to many athletic/cultural/charitable activities of the Order and the Community. His contribution to our betterment fulfilled the goals of Hellenism. Eonia Eimnemi (May his memory be eternal). - Posted by: William Constan (Secretary - Order of AHEPA Winnipeg) (Friend) on: Jan 28, 2021

My condolences to the family on the loss of a dear figure. Known Angelo and family since they came to Canada. He was a perfectionist in his trade and always willing to lend a hand. He was always pleasant. - Posted by: Jean Reuther (friend) on: Jan 24, 2021

I remember Angelo as a perfectionist. He was the best in the business at his trade . Angelo tirelessly brought to reality my design for a tempered glass neon dance floor at Studio 44 in 1979. He was my friend and an incredible person and I will miss him. - Posted by: Tom Dojack (Friend and business associate) on: Jan 23, 2021
