MAURICE IVAN FOX
As a young man Maurice came to Winnipeg from Indian Head Saskatchewan where he built houses on Alverstone and Willis Road and also had employment with Security Storage. Maurice owned his own Duffy's Taxis having purchased a few which he later sold. Maurice went to work for Winnipeg Art Galleries, travelled the world for them until he retired at the age of 80.
Left to mourn Maurice are his loving friends.
Rest in Peace.

Dick and I met Maurice and Minnie in Mazatlan Mexico at the Las Palmas Hotel. We shared many good times with them. We made many great meals in a non cooking hotel room. Maurice loved driving in Mazatlan and showing us where he bought his steaks, and where his favourite shop was in the Mercado. He had more Mexican friends in Mazatlan than anyone else I knew. He always brought them to Ana's for lunch. Maurice and Minnie came and stayed with us on one of their trips to Vancouver BC. We will miss you very much Maurice. We only wish we could have made it to Winnipeg for one of your birthdays. Until we meet again God Bless you Maurice.
