Our mutual friend Claire introduced my father and I to Mollie, as Mollie and my Dad both loved to play Scrabble. After Dad's passing, I continued to see Mollie occasionally for a Scrabble game and a good chat, always accompanied by a pot of tea and a baked treat. After Mollie moved from her condo to the seniors home, our contact was more sporadic, particularly with COVID, but we did have some lovely phone conversations. I didn't know until today about her passing. I will miss her dearly, she was a lovely person. - Posted by: Harry Ingleby (Friend) on: Sep 16, 2021

Mollie was a dear neighbour living on the same floor of our condo building from the time she moved from South Africa to Winnipeg and until she moved to a care home. We missed her when she moved - missed her gardening, missed our get togethers for tea, and so much more. We talked about her often even after we left Winnipeg for California. We talked on the phone several times once she moved and we moved. We did not hear about her passing until just today, I am sad we didn't have more time with her, she was such an amazing person. Unfortunately these last months we have had our own health battles and let too much time go by before we checked about her. We will always regret that. To her family, and all of us, may her memory be a blessing. - Posted by: Sharon and Arnold Glass (Neighbour) on: Sep 10, 2021

Mollie and I lived in the same condo building. She was an awesome woman with a sharp mind and great style. She was fiercely independent and loved her family. I moved to Alberta in 2019 and I have missed seeing her. What a role model she was for all of us who had the great privilege of knowing her! Sincere condolences to her family at this difficult time. - Posted by: Merrily Marchessault (Friend) on: Feb 26, 2021
