DOREEN MURRAY
(DEMINGS) (nee INNES)
August 3, 1940 – January 26, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved and cherished mother. Our special angel on earth will be forever in our hearts and our sweet memories will have to last a lifetime.
Doreen is survived by her eight children, Cheryl Sawka (Ray), Daniel DeMings (Charlene), David DeMings (Lisa), Susan Dranez (Herman deceased), Gerry DeMings, Cindy Tonn (John), Crystal Blanco (Dave deceased), and Michelle Dyck (Kevin). Mom was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom had a special place in her heart. She will be sadly missed by her remaining siblings, Eleanor, Peter and John.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My sister Doreen was a a gentle soul; caring, compassionate, loving and so dear to everyone who knew her. She was, and always will be, the matriarch of a large family. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her life. I will always treasure the memories I have of Doreen. Our life as children when we always played together and with our younger siblings, our life as teenagers and as young mothers where our conversations were mostly about our children. Our visits whenever we were able to be together and telephone calls as we aged. I will miss you Doreen, and you will be in my heart forever. Rest in Peace. To her precious family, my prayers, sympathy and love are with you all. God Bless You. Eleanor - Posted by: Eleanor Tardi (Sister) on: Jan 30, 2021

  • Remembering the times we shared, the kindness she gave so freely, the beautiful, gentle and strong woman she was. Thinking of you all, sending love, Gwen. - Posted by: Gwen Bryson ( MacLean ) (Family friend) on: Jan 30, 2021
