  • Margaret I was sorry to see Pauls obituary notice. I have only good memories of Paul, from playing football to hanging out with the gang at Mcburneys garage. I recall one day we skipped the last morning classes to go and play pool. Little did we know that Pauls dad was getting his hair cut at McCabes Barber Shop and poolroom, and as he sat in the chair he watched us pass by the window on our way to the poolroom. When he was done he looked in and said 'how is the game? and left us to sweat . Paul was unique. One time he shaved his head to compliment his costume for halloween. I think he was dressing as Yul Brynner from the movie The King and I. He will always remain in our fondest memories. - Posted by: Gord Gadsby (Friend team mate) on: Feb 16, 2021

  • Hi Margaret. I was sorry to see Paul's notice in the Free Press today. It is true we haven't stayed in touch since I left Souris. However I remember Paul as a really fine guy. We were studying a Dickens novel that had a character in it named Mr. Brownlow. That became my nick-name from him for the rest of the year. He was always polite and respectful with a ready sense of humour. I see that you have family and grand children. I hope that they can bring you comfort during this time of loss. • I went to high school and played football with Paul when I lived in Souris. A good guy with a sense of humour. - Posted by: Dave Brooks (Classmate/Team member) on: Feb 13, 2021
