He also leaves his two brothers, Victor and Peter, as well as many friends and family. Edward was predeceased by his parents, Metro and Tillie (Yurkiw), and his brother William.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. You are invited to join us virtually by accessing the Livestream link on Edward's obituary at www.greenacresfuneralhome.com
Flowers are gracefully declined, and friends and family so wishing to may contribute to his memory to CancerCare Manitoba, or charity of their choice.

Sorry to read about Ed's passing. Alice & I send our condolences to Jeanne & family. We have good memories of Ed from years past when we happened to run into each other. One memory I have is when Ed brought back to Winnipeg (from his parents homestead) an old single bed which we repainted and used for our daughter when she was young. Was a good memory of Ed, every time we looked at it. - Posted by: Alice & Terry Sturk (Cousin of spouse) on: Feb 21, 2021

So very sorry that you have lost your Edward... I remember fondly our youth back in Grade School and Gr. 9 in the forties and fifties.... I often wondered where he was and what had been his life.... Jeanne and family, I became a Ukrainian Catholic priest now for 53 years and I promise to pray for my dear old friend and for all of you... - Posted by: Father Bohdan Lukie (Grandview classmate) on: Feb 20, 2021
