MARILYN ANNE PROUT

On February 12, 2021, Marilyn Anne Prout (Davidson), 78, was called by our Lord to join him in Heaven. She passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
A private funeral service will be held at St. Gerard Parish on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Janus Officiating. Cropo will be handling the funeral arrangements. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
Marilyn was born in Brandon, Manitoba to Bill and Edith Davidson (nee Richardson) on September 27, 1942. She graduated from Assiniboine Community College from the Early Childcare Educator program and went on to have a daycare in her family home. A number of years later, she and her husband George went on to build and run a Bed and Breakfast, MillenniAnne Eden Garden in Clear Lake, MB, where they enjoyed hosting friends, family and many guests that became great friends.
Marilyn is survived by her husband George; daughter Tammy (Gord); son Michael; granddaughters, Brittany, Caitlyn and Phoenix; niece Crystal and nephews, Jimmy, Jay and Joey. She is preceded by her father Bill Davidson; Mother Edith Hendricks (Richardson); stepfather Alvin (Sweed) Hendricks; sister Catherine DeSchutter and brother Barry Davidson.

Her family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Allan Kimelman and the WRHA Community Palliative Care team (Tamara and Gaètan) who were always by her side when she needed them, as well as the staff at Riverview Health Centre.

  • We have such fond memories of Marilyn. She was always so welcoming and fun loving. We will miss visiting her at Onanole and at the Elkhorn events.
