JOANNE WIERBICKI
(nee SHKOLNY)
January 18, 1957 - February 2, 2021

Peacefully on February 2, 2021, Joanne passed away at Health Sciences Centre with her daughter by her side.
She leaves behind her partner of 21 years, Chuck Langford; daughter Jennifer (Luis); mother Olga; brother Michael (Darlene); and nieces, Lorianne and Lisa. She was predeceased by her father Michael in 1977.
Joanne grew up in the north end and attended Sisler High school. She married Bruce Wierbicki in 1984 and helped him run his business, Flower World. They had a daughter Jennifer, whom they loved very much and was the rosebud of their eyes.
Joanne was a great cook, her speciality being Ukrainian dishes. She loved to host birthdays and holiday dinners, making sure no one left hungry. When it came to animals she had a big heart, especially for her three cats who will miss her dearly.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
Donations may be made in Joanne's name to the Winnipeg Humane Society, or CancerCare Manitoba.

"Mom- you left us too soon and we
are going to miss you very much.
Forever in our hearts and
good memories to hold dear.
Love your little Pal."
