October 6, 1924 - February 12, 2021
Predeceased by her husband Michael, much loved daughter Roberta, her brother Omar, and sister Evelyn.
Shirley leaves to mourn her three children, Linda Spina, Michael (Ann) of Toronto and Dr. Maxine Carlisle of Kenora, Ontario; grandchildren, Matthew (Jesse and Dylan) of Ottawa, Kate (Greg), Philip (Tristan and Kaleb) of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Carrie (Max and Isabella) of Airdrie, Alberta, and Andrea (Mike, Jonathan) of Toronto. Also mourning her death are her two nephews, Randy and Rory Runnells.
At Shirley's request there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred in the spring beside her husband Michael and daughter Roberta.

Shirley was a beloved member of the Villa Cabrini 55+ community for many years. She had a delightful sense of self-reliance and was extremely well-respected by her fellow tenants.
