EDMUND PONTO
January 23, 1929 - February 14, 2021
Left to mourn are his wife Regina, his two children, his loving daughter-in-law, his two grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends in both Canada and Europe. Edmund was predeceased by his father Karl V. Ponto, and his mother Elisabath Franck.
Edmund was born in Cascioarele, Romania and emigrated with his family from Stuttgart, Germany to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1964. A great lover of the outdoors and simplicity, he enjoyed the richness of the Canadian wilderness to the fullest.
Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Life will not be held at this time. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
