NADIA YAWORSKI
April 6, 1946 - March 9, 2021
Nadia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the age of 74 years, with her children, Brenda and Phill by her side.
Nadia was predeceased by her husband Gerry; her parents, William and Anne; as well as her son Billy John; sister-in-law Vivian Ryan (Yaworski); brother-in-law Alvin Yaworski and many very close family members, from both sides; that supported, loved and will welcome her with open arms as they reunite.
She is closely survived by her loving family, daughter Brenda Yaworski; son Phillip and wife Christina Yaworski (Chmuhalek); grandson Coby Nieuwkerk; brother/sister-in-law, Ron and Lucille Yaworski; sisters-in-law, Madeleine Yaworski and Rosealind Campbell.
The ongoing love and continued support of family and friends over the years; above all these last two years, from all over, cannot be described or put in words. Phillip, Chrissy and Brenda would like to extend their heart filled gratitude to everyone.
Nadia's friendship, caring, devotion, willing to offer a hand when she was able and willing and selfless acts to others has more than earned her wings with so many loved ones by her side in thoughts, phone calls, letters, cards and prayers. She is sent off with a bright and utmost appreciated precession.
The family would like to acknowledge the watchfulness and attention from the staff of The Thorvaldson Centre and Dr. Permack and staff when Nadia first came to Winnipeg. Furthermore, they are beholden to the wonderful care given at her final residence, the Holy Family Home. In her last few weeks, the family cannot express their gratitude to many of the staff's compassion and tenderness.
The private family livestreamed funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Will be posted for one week thereafter. My sincere condolences go out to Brenda, Phil & Chrissy in the loss of their Mother Nadia. Nadia was a special and loving, mother, mother-in-law to myself and grandmother to my son Coby. There are no words that can be said on how she touched not only mine and Coby's lives but to all whom that had the pleasure of crossing her path. I will never forget the times that were spent at her kitchen table playing cards, laughing and smiling, and best of all her fantastic meals that she would prepare specially for us our visits to Sifton. This true Angel Nadia will treasured in our memories for a lifetime and lifetimes to come....and thank you for letting me & Coby in your life....All our Love Rick & Coby - Posted by: Rick N.
