ROSE ROBERECKI
April 27, 1930 – March 22, 2021

Rose was a dedicated mother and grandmother giving much of her time to raising her family. She was an accomplished baker and excellent cook, taking great pride in creating elaborate meals for family gatherings. She was always generous with her time and attending to the needs of others.
Rose was born and raised in Arborg, Manitoba. She later moved to Winnipeg where she attended business college and worked at Eaton's Public Relation Office. Rose was an avid gardener and enjoyed attending Holy Eucharist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Lawrence (Susan), Grant and Wayne, daughter Angela (Walter), and two grandsons, Alexander and Ashton.
Rose is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Rose was predeceased by her father Anton and mother Julia (Dobryden); sisters, Anne, Jean, Mary and Elsie; brothers, Vladamir, Harry, Nick, Steve, and her beloved husband Alexander.
A private service with interment at Holy Family Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Saddened to find out about Aunt Rose's passing. She was truly one of a kind and will always be remembered for her many great qualities. Aunt Rose's smile, her laugh and how she cared and listened are just a few of the many things that come to mind when I think of her. As a child, I remember the times that we would go and visit with Aunt Rose and her family. If it was a morning visit, I will never forget how she would have porridge made for me as she knew how much I enjoyed a good bowl of porridge. I will also never forget that she was the only person I knew that would have dessert with breakfast. As everyone grew older, I looked up to her and admired her for the person she was. Time spent with her is something I will hold dear to my heart. My sincerest condolences go out to her family. - Posted by: Joe Rechik (Nephew) on: Apr 16, 2021

  • Rose was my Aunt Jean Krzywonos' sister, and I remember her well from my childhood and teen years--a more lovely, friendly and gracious woman there never was. My heart goes out to the family at this time of loss. - Posted by: Connie Wawruck-Hemmett (extended family ) on: Apr 03, 2021
