JIM (JACOB) HILDEBRAND
March 17, 1952 - April 28, 2021
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry Hildebrand and Mary Hiebert, and parents-in-law, Henry and Susan Friesen.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jenny, sons, Jeremy (Venessa) and Jeff (Vicky), and granddaughters, Ava and Mila who were his angels; brothers, Clarence (Nadia) and Otto (Elaine), sister Verna (Karl) and in-laws, Orlando and Shelley, Vivian and Vern, Rhonda and Marv, Wally, Howard and Barb, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim loved family gatherings and enjoyed all the great food that came with them, especially the taco dip that Rhonda would make.
Many summer weekends were spent at Granite Lake with great friends, creating lasting memories that his family will always cherish.
Jim ran his own business Hilbro Glass for many years selling and installing windows and doors. He was also a handyman who could fix almost anything.
He was an avid sports fan, participant and a long-time member of the Fort Rouge Curling Club. Many nights were spent watching his team play and enjoying the pizza and beers afterwards. One of his greatest joys was coaching Jeremy and Jeff in baseball.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre Unit 3 West for taking such good care of Jim during his stay there and all the family, friends and neighbours that have reached out to us.
Rest in peace Jim. Love you.

I worked with Jim off and on for years. He was always a good guy to be around. Had lots of stories to tell. Retired myself I had thought of him and the old days, along with brother Otto they taught me a lot about the profession. - Posted by: Brian Jones (Friend/ window installer) on: May 08, 2021
