Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We are so very sorry to hear about Linda's passing. She was a lovely lady inside and out. Linda was very active with a great sense of humor. Full of stories and a wonderful laugh. We will always keep her in our hearts. Rest in peace Linda. - Posted by: Richard and Hildy Tonn (Cousin) on: Jul 25, 2021

  • We have been friends for many years. Linda’s first husband was out best man at our wedding. When she moved back to Winnipeg we got together and catch up on the past. We spent quality time at our place for many meals and cowboy movies (she liked those type of movies). We got to meet her son Richard and got to reconnect with Rhonda and meet her husband Randy. We took advantage of her good days and would pick her up and stay with us for a few days. Those were such good visits, she enjoyed my cooking. First time she tried cold cream cheese pizza. We are going to miss those times. She told us about all the places she travelled and really enjoyed those trips. She talked about her grandchildren and what she was knitting for them hoping everything fits. She loved her plants she definitely had a green thumb. I have started a Hoya plant from a cutting she gave me and it’s growing so well. Makes this plant more special now. Our heartfelt condolences to the family. God Bless. - Posted by: Rick & Debbie Lindsay (Long time friend) on: May 13, 2021

  • Thank you Carmen for that interesting and thoughtful story of Linda and her life. I met Linda as a co-worker in the Library at Lions Place. She was a friendly person, conscientious, and always willing to help others. We appreciated her work here, and send our warmest condolences to all the family. RIP, dear friend. - Posted by: Gerald R.
