The family would like to announce the sudden passing of Patricia Mitchell of Winnipeg on May 23, 2021, at the age of 86, after a brief illness and with her daughter by her side.
Pat will be sadly missed and remembered by her children, Deborah and Karen Mitchell, Diane Irvine, Dawn Arason and Blair Jr; her cherished grandchildren, Pamela and Ashley Arason, Kerri-Anne Mitchell, Shawn and Stacy Irvine, Randi Irvine; four great-grandsons; sisters, Linda Page and Sharon Hansen (Dennis); along with her niece and nephews, Christine Billey (Dave), Mark Malenchak (Charlene), Kent (Eileen) and Lee Page and their family.
Pat was predeceased by her husband William Blair Mitchell (1993); son Garth; parents, Kay and Albert Durado; and siblings, Lenny and Marilyn.
Pat was born on April 19,1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Kay and Albert Durado. Pat met the love of her life and they married on March 10, 1956. She was born and raised in Transcona and spent her adult life there raising her children. She loved Ten-Pin Bowling and enjoyed the odd game of golf, however her passion was in the many Bingo games she played and adored.
Pat was a very kind, gentle, compassionate person who loved her family dearly. She was a very loyal friend and gave help and care to anyone who was in need. She had a big heart, loved and respected everyone. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
