WILLIAM HAMBLETON
Bud was born December 17, 1930 to Reg and Emily Hambleton. He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Helen; daughter Leslie; son Kelly (Sue); and daughter Cory (Gordon); grandson Marc-Oliver; granddaughters, Alex and Aidan; sisters-in-law, Rose Fegus and Joan Dresna; and nieces and nephew, Kirk Miller (Janice), Janice Miller, Maureen Brunton and Karen Dresna-Cochrane. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Violet Miller and brother Don Hambleton. He will now be joining close friends who left this world before him: Ernie Riffel, Jock Berezanski, Mike Kolochen and John Magnussen.
Bud worked at Molson's for over 30 plus years and really enjoyed his time there. He loved sports, playing lacrosse, baseball and hockey in his youth, and coaching hockey for several years at Morse Place Community Club. His favourite place to be was at the cabin at Spruce Sands with family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of your choice. At Bud's request, no service will be held.

My condolences to the family of both Buddy & Helen. Buddy was a good friend to many, and in his younger days many of his buddies would go over to Bud's and his would fix them something to eat, or have them stay for supper and often they would sleep over. After Helen & Bud were married and when they moved to East Kildonan, the kids in the neighborhood always knew when Helen baked cookies and made themselves at home there. When they were going to Grand Forks or Fargo, Buddy would say "phone Ruby & see if she wants to come" or when I visited them when they were in E. St. Paul, he would drive me home in the early hours of the morning, then one day he said "I'm going to bed, here are my keys, drive yourself home and bring back the car tomorrow. I loved them both. You couldn't ask for better friends. Rest in Peace, both of you. Love, Ruby - Posted by: Ruby Ingram (Friend of both Buddy & Helen) on: Aug 16, 2021
