I went to school with Ian in grade 8 and 9. Where we were around 20 we reconnected and actually lived together on Milton St in Weston. We shared a lot of laughs together. To his family I am so sorry for your loss - Posted by: Gary Osmachenko (Friend) on: Jun 06, 2021

Ian was a good guy. I remember his smile and corny jokes. We both had a interest in Bruce Lee and Kung Fu when we were young. We used to train in his garage on William Ave. May he rest in peace. My condolences to the Muska family. - Posted by: Jay Smith (Friend) on: Jun 02, 2021

To Ian's family I offer you my sincerest and deepest condolences. Inspite of his trials, he never lost touch with his friends. Ian was an especially dear friend to my brother, Angelo, whom he felt comfortable with. I would imagine they shared a lot of youthful memories. The Colatruglio family will always remember Ian's kind and generous spirit. God Bless him. - Posted by: Tina Gawron (Friend) on: Jun 02, 2021

Ian was a good soul. A gentle man. He always contacted me. I visited him in the hospital. I wish he didn’t die. He deserves better in life. I send Ian. My love and light. Blessings Vivian M Muska. - Posted by: Vivian Muska (Cousin. ) on: Jun 01, 2021

I first met and became good friends with Ian in September 1997 at a point in my life when tragedy had upended my life. Ian at that time had struggled in his own life and gave me a different perspective of life. He never aspired to be wealthy or be of greater importance to others. He didn't look down on others when they would only look down on him. Although he had very little he would save what he could and give to those even less fortunate than him. Ian enjoyed a mutual love of music which connected us. His particular love of The Doors will forever remind me of him whenever I hear their music. I will miss our dining on Frank's Pizza or having Whoppers at BK. Ian, I pray you are finally at peace. - Posted by: Werner Reisel (Friend ) on: May 29, 2021

What I remember most about Ian is his smile. He always had a joke or funny comment and lightened many moments in our classes. My condolences to the Muska family. - Posted by: Jackie Morrison Demchuk (Went to school with Ian) on: May 29, 2021

I have known Ian since grade 7 and enjoyed those early years, especially making block buster “blurry” home movies. We kept in touch all these 44 years and shared many “unique” conversations. I saw Ian as a very gentle soul who always expressed gratitude and kind words towards those near him. He shared many of his creative drawings and poetry, certain to challenge your thoughts and world view. In spite of all the struggles and adversities Ian battled, I witnessed how it forged in him an ingenuity to adapt and a resourceful use of his few possessions. Ian’s courageous strength, resilience and profound faith will forever leave me humbled. - Posted by: Angelo Colatruglio (Friend) on: May 29, 2021
