DOROTHY PATRICIA (PAT) BARRY
She was predeceased by her husband, Allison James Barry and her parents, Fredric and Cecilia Brookbanks.
Pat is survived by her children, Kevin (Elizabeth) Barry and Irene (Jeffrey) Bayne, four grandchildren, Kyle (Virginia) Barry, Matthew (Stephanie) Barry, Adam Bayne and Evan Bayne, and two great-grandchildren, Tessa and James Barry, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pat was devoted to her family, for many years an active member in many capacities at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, especially as a music cantor, and was a great lover of music and animals.
Pat's family would like to thank the staff at Vista Park Lodge for their kindness and dignified care of Pat during her journey with Alzheimer's disease.
Services to honour Pat's memory will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.

Mrs Barry as we all called her, was the mom of Irene and Kevin .. Our family went to school and church together.. from the 1960s on. Our mom and dad were in the church choir where we all (the Lucko family) all knew "Mrs Barry" as the beautiful trained voice at Mass. She had a God given gift ...her voice. She was Always happy to talk about Kevin and Irene . She missed Kevin and his family, being that they didn't live close. She relied on Irene for everything as she was close. Always kind and a matter of fact lady. As older adults now we know the void of having no mom and dad ... I know it hurts They would have been proud of accomplishments, choices, grandchildren and how we carry on .They did a great job raising good people. Irene and Kevin...Know that you are being thought of, prayed for, and giving virtual hugs in this new pandemic world. Our parents are together singing I'm sure❣️Bless You Mrs Barry as you walk with God's Angels. I'm sure you are in the choir again.
