AUDREY A. FRASER
(nee LENOSKI)
She is predeceased by her parents, Sabina Lenoski (nee Chudyk) and Leo Lenoski, her sister Helen Hartman, and brothers, Walter Lenson, Dr. Frank Lenson and Dr. Edward Lenoski.
Audrey is survived by her husband Walter Fraser, and her children, David (Kerry) Fraser, Lynda Fraser (Winnipeg), Evelyn (Jacques) Rice, and Patty (Dave) Fraser (Calgary, AB). She is reunited with her eldest, James (Laura) Fraser, deceased (Abbotsford, BC). She is also lovingly survived by her six grandchildren, Samantha, Shelby, Justin, Ashley, Isaac and Avery, and numerous nieces and nephews, including Patrick and Shirley Hartman (of Calgary, Alberta), Carol, Peter, Paul Phillip, Rosemary Lenson (Ontario), Michael Beth, Daniel Lenoski, and Andy (deceased) (of the USA) and many extended family. A special thank you to her friend of 60 years, Gladys Reid (Winnipeg).
Audrey met Walter in the late 1950s and was married for over 60 years. Together they kept the same home in St. James, enjoying decades of celebrations with children, grandchildren, family and friends; their golden years spent having quiet dinners together and going for scenic drives.
Audrey had an extensive love of music of every genre, from Strauss to Johnny Cash, was an accomplished pianist, masterful knitter/crocheter, film buff and her Faith was only rivaled by a cheeky sense of humour. She had wisdom beyond her personal experience, unique insight on human dynamics, and a keen ability to read people quickly. She lived graciously by example, with a smile that lit up any room.
The family wishes to thank the health care team at Golden West Centennial Lodge, where Audrey resided briefly at the end of her life, providing her with loving and personal care, when her family could not be close due to the pandemic.
Prayers will be said on July 29, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Charles Roman Catholic Parish, 320 St. Charles Street with viewing half hour prior. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Michael Wollbaum on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery.
