DEREK KING
May 18, 1930 - August 6, 2021
He will be forever remembered by his beloved wife Alma along with his brother and sister-in-law John and Valerie Cunningham and family in England.
The service will take place on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, No. 7 - 119 Regent Avenue East.
A special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor Concordia Care Home for their kindness and also to thank the Transcona Legion and Ladies Auxiliary.

Very saddened by the passing of Derek. Our loving thoughts are with you Alma. What wonderful friends you and Derek have been to so many of us over the years, from your caring ways, your lovely meals, your hilarious sense of humour and great company. Derek helped Murray many times with lawn mower repairs! My sister Susan and husband Brian consider the visit with you both to be the highlight of their Canadian holiday.
